Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide skilled OT intervention in patients' homes. This full-time role (days) may consider part-time, serving a territory across several Massachusetts communities listed in the posting.

You will document visits per AOTA standards, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the supervising OT and care team to promote independence and safety in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification eligibility or completion.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled OT interventions under supervision per plan of care.
• Documents visits according to AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Monitors patient responses and communicates changes to the OT and care team.
• Provides resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and occupational engagement.
• Keeps knowledge of OT trends and care coordination up to date.
• Other duties as assigned.
