UnitedHealth Group, through Amedisys, seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety. You’ll collaborate with patients, families, and the inter disciplinary team to create individualized plans aligned with physician orders.

The role requires ACOTE-accredited OT education, current state licensure, NBCOT eligibility, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of OT experience, with driving available for travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Eligible to take NBCOT entry-level certification exam.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of related OT experience.
• Driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses problems from assessment and document rationale if not addressed.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
