Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety while building strong patient and family relationships. You will collaborate with the care team to develop individualized plans in line with physician orders and agency policy.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services under a physician-approved plan, timely documentation, and safe service delivery.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program or equivalent.
• Eligible for NBCOT certification or already certified.
• Minimum one year of related OT experience; regional leadership approval if less.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery under a physician approved plan of care
• Ensures the plan of care addresses all problems identified in the assessment and documents rationale if not addressed
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of the OT service delivery process
• Completes documentation timely and accurately
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case
• Other duties as assigned
