Zusammenfassung

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to craft individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and agency policies.

Eligible candidates have an OT degree, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT eligibility/completion, and current CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice occupational therapy specific to the state you are assigned to work.
• Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE of the AOTA.
• Eligible to take or has completed NBCOT certification.
• One year related OT experience.
• If less than one year experience, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring/residency may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for all aspects of OT service delivery under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensures the plan of care addresses all problems identified in the assessment or documents rationale if not addressed.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
