Job summary

Amerita in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Scheduler for Home Health and Home Infusion to coordinate nursing visits, approve documents, and manage delivery tickets and plans of treatments.

The role involves ensuring timely authorizations, liaising with field staff, and maintaining records. On-site work with potential hybrid remote after 6 months is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge and experience in home care preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track regularly scheduled Amerita nursing visits for field and AIS.
• Secure Home Health agency for patient visits when Amerita nurse is unavailable.
• Communicate patient demographics and latest infusion orders to field nurses.
• Alert field nurses to changes or updates in infusion orders.
• Assign new patients and primary nursing from Nurse Manager to field staff.
• Review and approve nursing notes in Alayacare or applicable software.
