Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to transform store guests into loyal customers. You’ll guide guests and help design rooms that reflect their lives, thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

The first two weeks of training are paid at an hourly rate of $15.00 to $15.40 per hour, with potential commissions and quarterly bonuses based on sales performance. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Thrives in an environment that rewards for delivering world-class service and delighting our guests.
• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest; maintain a welcoming presence at the front desk; engage with guests.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently; assist with credit applications and financing; document sales transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist in opening/closing, cash reconciliation, and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention; participate in bi-annual inventory checks.
• Meet and exceed sales goals; align to KPI and performance standards.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
