Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a loan operations professional to review documentation and support the loan processing workflow. You will verify documents for compliance, coordinate with customers, loan officers, branches and other financial institutions, and update statuses in loan systems.

You will communicate professionally by phone and email to request missing information, explain requirements, and provide timely updates on file status to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent.
• Previous banking experience or customer-facing roles.
• 1–2 years of home equity, mortgage, or loan processing experience (preferred).
• Spanish speaking a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review loan application documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Interact with customers, loan officers, and branches to obtain required documents.
• Make welcome calls on new files and maintain status updates.
• Document calls and status in the system for auditability.
