You will supervise departmental teams, implement company initiatives, and mentor associates to achieve goals while maintaining merchandising standards and cost controls.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills.

• Proficient knowledge of computers.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in the selection and hiring process.
• Forklift certification.
• Two years’ management experience (desired).
• Bachelor’s degree (desired).

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Home and Electronics meet/exceed customer expectations for shopping experience and cleanliness.
• Interview, select and hire candidates for Home and Electronics staff.
• Train associates on all functions within Home and Electronics.
• Achieve/exceed sales and wage budgets and customer satisfaction targets.
• Lead teams in planning and execution of company initiatives.
• Demonstrate merchandising for maximum sales impact.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Maintain shrink control and stock receiving standards.
• Use MAGIC system to maintain ordering and stock levels.
• Manage markdown process per guidelines.
• Uphold safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
