Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high‑quality customer service.

The Portsmouth branch offers a small, supportive team with a clear on‑call rotation and a stable schedule. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
