Job summary

Accendra Health's Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Completion of Apria's Driver Training Program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME in patient homes and offices.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use to patients.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles and records.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
