Job summary

Accendra Health delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes, educating patients on safe operation and providing high‑quality service.

You’ll join a small, supportive team with clear on‑call expectations and a stable schedule, often taking trucks home based on route. This role combines hands‑on equipment handling with patient interaction in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set-ups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
