Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high-quality customer service.

At our Portsmouth branch, you’ll join a small, supportive team where you’re known, valued, and trusted. The role offers a stable schedule, on-call opportunities with stipends, and meaningful work helping patients with life-sustaining needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
