Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes, while educating patients on proper use and safety. The role emphasizes safe operation, high-quality service, and patient comfort in home settings.

The position supports a small, close-knit Portsmouth branch with a stable schedule, on-call rotation, and opportunities to grow within a hands-on, family-like team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
