Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse who provides patient training and ongoing support for patients choosing home dialysis. The role emphasizes quality care and superior customer service in all interactions.

The RN will train patients (and care partners) in self-care dialysis, perform home visits, document in the EMR, and participate in infection control and emergency preparedness procedures. Flexibility with locations and hours is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience; dialysis experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Proficient in English (spoken & written).
• Must complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation and maintain competency.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis.
• Conduct home visits and assess home environment.
• Document nursing services in EMR and ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate results to physicians and team members.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and emergency preparedness.
