Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse to train patients in home dialysis and provide ongoing support. You will conduct home visits, evaluate patient environments, and document care in the EMR to ensure continuity of service.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. The position includes on-call duties and frequent collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience; 3 months in the modality (Texas requires 6 months).
• CPR certification required prior to patient care.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills; must use USRC clinical applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Train patient and/or care partner in home dialysis modality per federal/state regulations.
• Conduct home visits to assess patient environment and care needs.
• Document all nursing services in the EMR with accuracy and continuity.
• Perform on-call nursing coverage nights and weekends as needed.
• Ensure supply inventory and timely orders to support patient prescriptions.
• Improve patient outcomes through data tracking and quality improvement activities.
