Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Marietta, GA seeks an entry-level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to join the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. You will assess, plan, and coordinate home dialysis training, treat therapy patients, and communicate with physicians.

You will educate patients and families, participate in quality improvement activities, and support CAP progression while meeting regulatory standards. RN licensure and CPR/BLS are required; travel to patient homes may be needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (preferred).
• Home dialysis therapy experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; active state license; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coordinate home dialysis training for assigned patients.
• Assess and document patient responses, adjust care plans per protocol.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and routines.
• Administer medications per approved algorithms and monitor effects.
• Initiate emergency response when needed and participate in CAP tasks.
• Train Home Dialysis patients and Home Partners on equipment use.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and documentation.
