Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Home Therapies CAP. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering clinically competent care for a group of patients on home dialysis.

You will assess patient responses to training and treatment, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. The position includes on-site work in a health care facility with standard nursing rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Assess and manage patients’ response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy.
• Coordinate education for patients and families and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and participate in emergency response measures.
• Mentor and supervise Home Therapy staff as assigned.
