Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients and educate families on home dialysis training and treatment therapy.

The role involves collaboration with the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, participation in quality improvement, and potential on-call responsibilities in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications as prescribed or with approved algorithms.
• Train Home Dialysis patients and Home Partners on equipment and supplies.
• Supervise and mentor staff as assigned.
