Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse to train patients for home dialysis and provide ongoing support.

You will perform home visits, assess patient environments, document in the EMR, and ensure safety and quality care aligned with federal/state regulations. Responsibilities include patient and care partner training, infection control, emergency preparedness, inventory management, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience with 3 months in home dialysis training (Texas exception noted).
• CPR certification is required prior to patient care assignment.
• Ability to read and write in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient training for home dialysis and ongoing support for patients and care partners.
• Conduct home visits to assess the patient’s home environment and care needs.
• Document nursing services in the EMR and communicate findings to the care team.
• Assist in infection control monitoring and emergency preparedness activities.
• Coordinate supply inventory and on-time orders for patient prescriptions.
• Be on-call for nights and weekends on a rotational basis.
