Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse for home hemo and peritoneal dialysis. The Home Therapy RN trains patients, supports families, and ensures high-quality care across home dialysis programs.

Responsibilities include home visits, documentation in EMR, infection control, and on-call coverage. The role requires an active RN license, CPR, and ability to work flexibly with the program schedule.

Qualifications

• ,Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience; 3 months in home dialysis modality (Texas may require 6 months).
• CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors; basic computer skills; familiarity with USRC systems.

Responsibilities

• Train patients and care partners in self-care peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis within regulatory standards.
• Conduct home visits to assess the home environment and patient performance.
• Document nursing services in the EMR with accurate status and interventions.
• Communicate lab results and patient status to physicians and care team.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and emergency procedures training.
• Coordinate home equipment evaluation and water sampling per policy.
• Be flexible with staffing locations and hours; participate in on-call rotations.
