Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Home Therapies Nurse to lead the safe delivery and education of home dialysis treatments for patients with ESRD. You will train families, assess home environments, and coordinate with physicians on therapy plans.

The role requires RN licensure, 1+ year nursing and dialysis experience, and proficiency with dialysis equipment and documentation in the Medical Information System. Strong teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Dialysis experience (peritoneal or hemodialysis) preferred.
• Successfully complete training in dialysis therapies.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise delivery of home dialysis therapies per policy and regulatory standards.
• Rotates with licensed staff to ensure coverage and participates in staff trainings.
• Contribute to CQI activities and monthly meetings to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on ESRD and home therapy options.
• Document orders, labs, vitals, and treatment data in the Medical Information System.
