Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to coordinate and provide clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients. You will assess responses to home dialysis training, plan care, and communicate with physicians as needed.

The role includes supervision of staff, patient education, and participation in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations. Licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing (entry level CAP 1)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (preferred)
• Home dialysis therapy experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients' response to home dialysis training and treatment.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Direct and coordinate safe and effective delivery of home dialysis therapy.
• Administer medications per prescribed or approved protocol.
• Participate in staff training, quality improvement and on-call coverage.
