Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse to train and support patients choosing home dialysis modalities. The role emphasizes safety, documentation in EMR, and coordination with physicians and therapists.

Expect on-call rotations and location-flexible home program coordination. Qualifications include an active RN license, 12 months of clinical nursing experience with 3 months in the dialysis modality, CPR certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience with 3 months in the specific home dialysis modality.
• Texas requires at least 6 months in the specific home modality.
• CPR certification is required prior to patient care assignment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Train patients (and/or care partners) in self-care peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis per regulations.
• Conduct home visits and assess home environment; monitor patient performance.
• Document nursing services in EMR, including training and interactions.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and emergency procedures.
• Manage clinic and patient supply inventory and timely orders.
• Provide on-call nursing services nights and weekends as needed.
• Coordinate home evaluations with technical services and water sampling per policy.
