Job summary

Crate and Barrel Designer role is for a customer-focused design professional who helps clients envision possibilities with home trends. You will guide in-store and in-home consultations, create moodboards and floor plans, and present design packages that align with brand standards.

Responsibilities include driving sales through elevated design experiences, maintaining product presentation, and collaborating with store and design teams to support business goals while staying current with industry

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture sales or home decor design preferred.
• Ability to conduct design consultations in-store or in-home.
• Proficient with design tools and Google Suite.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver elevated design offerings in-store, in-home, and virtually.
• Create moodboards, 2D/3D floor plans, product lists, and client presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person or via email, phone and video.
• Deliver projects on time within set timelines.
• Maintain brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy across channels.
• Stay informed about product information and industry trends.
• Communicate effectively to meet sales and service goals.
• Build lasting client relationships through networking and clienteling.
• Use technology to enhance design work (iPad, Google tools, etc.).
• Support training on design services for team understanding.
