Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP units and ventilators, educating patients on proper usage, and ensuring equipment operates safely. The candidate will travel to patient sites, maintain records, and stay current on respiratory homecare techniques.

Qualifications

• Must hold CRT or RRT license or be eligible in the applicable state.
• Must have reliable personal vehicle to visit patients and mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records per accreditation standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency varies by center size.
