Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join its growing home care team in the United States. This role covers setup of home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and monitors, and includes educating patients on proper usage of prescribed devices.

Responsibilities include setting up, inspecting, and operating equipment; reviewing prescriptions; maintaining patient records; and staying current with respiratory homecare techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain complete patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
