Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage.

The position includes training and ongoing education opportunities within a supportive environment. Responsibilities include equipment setup, safety checks, reviewing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and staying current with pulmonary care practices.

Qualifikationen

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Aufgaben

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, ventilators).
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment administration per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency determined by center size.
