Job summary

Addus HomeCare in the greater Illinois area seeks a proactive operations supervisor to manage daily branch tasks, staffing, and program delivery. You will oversee recruitment, training, and compliance, while driving census growth and ensuring services are delivered as authorized.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and solid MS Office/HRIS skills. Travel to the branch’s service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-5 years in health care; some home care experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive census/revenue growth.
• Experience leading training sessions or meetings with staff.
• Experience with compliance/audits.
• MS Office and HRIS proficiency; Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to ensure the branch operates in compliance with company and contract requirements.
• Assist census and revenue growth via effective service delivery of care plans.
• Lead recruitment, orientation, training and retention of branch and office staff.
• Guide staff on workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
• Facilitate team meetings as needed.
• Evaluate staff skills and conduct additional training and counseling.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources and participate in outreach events.
• Develop processes to ensure services are delivered as authorized.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns and grievances.
• Process payroll and billing as needed.
