Serenity Home Health Care is seeking a Branch Manager in Chicago, IL. This full-time role centers on leading a growing branch, ensuring compliant operations and optimal service delivery.

You will oversee personnel, client coordination, service utilization, and communications with case managers to sustain high-quality care for clients. The position requires rigorous leadership, strong documentation, and dedicated oversight of daily activities, with a standard 9:00am–5:00pm schedule, Monday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Five years of experience in Home Healthcare, Homecare, Caregiving or similar field.
• 2-3 years of managerial or supervisory experience within the homecare setting.
• 24hrs Online Caregiverlist training certificate.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with the Microsoft Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb organizational skills and self-management.
• Initiative and drive to see a project through.

Responsibilities

• Manages personnel, including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, training, and dismissal.
• Trains and supervises client coordinators.
• Oversees recruitment initiatives and coordinates with recruitment supervisors.
• Observe and verify employee timekeeping.
• Communicates the need for upcoming positions and personnel in advance.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
• Ensures utilization hours of insurance are maximized and services stay within approved limits.
• Corresponds with case managers on care plan deviations.
• Staffing support for special case clients.
• Maintain positive relationships with case managers to build the client base.
• Resolve escalated client and caregiver complaints.
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and set agency goals.
• Oversee timekeeping accuracy and posting of open visits.
• Implement and interpret service and operational policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and caregiver information.
• Compile weekly and monthly KPIs; maintain incident reports.
