Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to assist clients at Elk Valley, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family. You will provide personal care and help clients stay safely in their own homes, including daily living activities and some household tasks.

State-specific TN training is required; CPR certification is preferred, with a target of 90 days to obtain if needed. Flexible hours and supportive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with vehicle insurance or access to public transit.
• TN: 75 hours training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire (preferred).
• 6+ months of home care experience (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
