Job summary

Elk Valley, part of LHC Group and a member of the Optum family, seeks a Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide compassionate in-home care so clients can remain safely at home. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, and accompaniment to appointments, with strict confidentiality and EVV usage.

Requirements include a TN training hours mandate, a driver’s license, 6+ months of home care, CPR certification (or within 90 days), and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
