Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) is seeking a Retail Home Consultant to guide customers through floor plans, options, and the construction process, delivering a world-class homebuying experience. The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, inventory merchandising, and proactive follow-up with buyers in a dynamic home-center environment.

You will demonstrate model homes, set appointments, and participate in ongoing training, with a base salary plus commission and excellent earning potential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales experience.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Move and lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify floor plans and options and coordinate the construction process.
• Demonstrate home features and benefits to create added value.
• Set home center visits from prospect database and leads.
• Maintain customer files in the CRM and provide timely follow-up.
• Merchandise model homes and maintain appearance of the homes.
• Take part in sales meetings, training, and company functions.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
