Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating construction to deliver a world-class home buying experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience in relationship-driven sales, strong communication, and the ability to work Saturdays. The role offers a base salary plus commission and comprehensive benefits in a full-time setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven B2C sales is preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment is required.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work Saturdays and maintain professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Protect the Clayton branding and assets during the sales process.
• Develop expertise in finance concepts, products, and sales skills for local market.
• Follow up with prospective buyers and maintain customer files in the CRM.
• Assist with inventory display, model decorations, and floor plan merchandising.
• Set appointments and convert ads/web leads to visits.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth customer experience.
