Astound Broadband in Texas is seeking a field technician to perform residential installs and disconnects (data, video, phone) on customer premises, following our standards and safety guidelines.

You will ensure correct RF and signal levels, provide customer education, and maintain strong communication with dispatch while upholding productivity and time management metrics. This role requires driving a company vehicle and working in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 (Entry Level)
• Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of Ladder; Hand or Power Tools
• Customer Service

Responsibilities

• Performs residential installs and disconnects on customer premises according to organizational standards and specs.
• Provide a positive customer experience by ensuring/recording correct RF and signal levels within specifications before completion.
• Maintain appropriate levels of communication with leadership and dispatch, ensuring a highly productive route while sustaining performance metrics, safety and time management.
• Provide customer education in the form of subject‑matter expertise, focusing on both new/existing products and services, along with potential upsell opportunities.
• Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner
• Other duties as assigned
