AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will serve as a subject matter expert, conduct new hire training, and mentor team members while ensuring compliance and patient confidentiality.

Your role includes facilitating PAP equipment setup, supporting respiratory programs, and maintaining documentation and device cleanliness to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, general manual labor, military, or equipment repair may be considered related experience.
• Medicare certified HME environment with insurance billing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is a plus.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license from state of residence.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff, CPAP/BIPAP Program Managers, and Operations Managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs per policy and guidelines, troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accuracy in documentation and paperwork.
