Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will train teammates, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

You will set up PAP therapy equipment, follow up with patients, and coordinate with program managers to optimize respiratory care services. Travel within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with equipment repair or maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with Medicare/insurance processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff and program managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks; communicate instructions clearly.
• Perform follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and alert clinical support as needed.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks and repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork accurately.
