Zusammenfassung

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will ensure equipment is correctly set up, maintained, and explained to patients and caregivers with professional communication.

You will collaborate with Respiratory staff and Program Managers, train new hires, and mentor teammates while supporting billing documentation and HIPAA compliance. Travel within the service area is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff and Managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating clear instructions.
• Conduct patient follow-ups to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs to clinical support.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and basic repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
