West Coast Wound is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality home-based physical therapy across the San Fernando region. You will work under a licensed PT, implementing plans of care, monitoring progress, and educating families to support safe, independent movement.

Ideal candidates are autonomous, communicative, and compassionate, with PTA licensure, a solid foundation in anatomy and rehabilitation, and a valid driver’s license for travel to patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, rehabilitation principles.
• Ability to safely implement a Physical Therapist's established plan of care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under PT supervision.
• Travel to patients' homes to deliver therapy services.
• Reinforce home exercise programs and educate patients/caregivers.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress daily.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, payer, and policy requirements.
