West Coast Wound & Skin Care in the Los Angeles area is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement plans of care, guide gait and balance training, and educate patients and caregivers to improve mobility and independence.

The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and able to manage a mobile caseload with thorough documentation and collaboration with the supervising PT for optimal

Formación

• Current and valid PTA license
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, rehab principles
• Ability to safely implement plan of care
• Excellent communication with patients and caregivers

Responsabilidades

• Travel to patients\' homes to provide therapy under supervision
• Review plan of care and goals before treatment
• Provide therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Document treatment and patient progress accurately
• Maintain safety and professionalism in home environments
