Job summary

Visiting Physician Services division of Visiting Nurse Association Health Group seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and caregivers. You will manage a high volume of calls, deliver excellent service, and support clinicians with administrative tasks in the in-home care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3 years work related experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA.
• Knowledge of SpringCM archive system preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers high volume of phone calls while providing excellent customer service.
• Provides administrative support to clinicians.
• Performs registration of new patients and insurance verifications.
• Provides back-up support for other team members as needed.
