Job summary

Constellation Health Services seeks a Behavior Technician to implement ABA-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will collect data, reinforce positive behaviors, and collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals across home, clinic and school settings.

The role requires a 21+ age, a relevant degree or two years of direct experience, strong organizational skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age and older.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and 1 year of direct relevant experience with youth and families.
• Or an associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of direct relevant experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills are required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under BCBA supervision.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using reward systems, incidental teaching, and pivotal response training.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides accurate documentation of intervention, goals and objectives.
• Facilitates transitions between agencies and programs as service provision changes.
