Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises, Inc. in Florida is seeking friendly, customer‑oriented team members to help guests and keep a fast‑paced dining room running smoothly. You will enter orders into the POS, retrieve and deliver food and drinks, collect payments, and assist with sidework, closing tasks, and ToGo orders.

You must be able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must complete Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certification, with a flexible schedule and shifts

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Be knowledgeable about Food & Beverage menus and current promotions.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Handle payments and give correct change promptly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter orders into POS system.
• Retrieve and deliver food or drink orders to guests in a timely manner.
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards) and ensure transactions are correct.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests.
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area.
• Be knowledgeable regarding menus and promotions and answer questions clearly.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and running food/drink as needed.

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Five (5) Day Work Week
