Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks a TurboTax Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns for consumer and business clients, from simple W‑2s to complex filings.

You will own the client relationship, understand their financial picture, and deliver proactive tax planning while leveraging TurboTax tools for a seamless experience. This role emphasizes onsite work at a TurboTax store and collaboration with bookkeeping/payroll specialists to grow the local client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using tax software.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping; QuickBooks ProAdvisor is desirable.
• Experience in business tax prep and year-round guidance for small businesses is highly desirable.
• Must have or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for TurboTax consumer and business clients, including simple to complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide planning guidance.
• Promote tax services within the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring a high-quality customer experience both in person and via digital channels.
• Represent TurboTax locally and engage in community marketing to grow the client base.
