Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate in Durham, NC, for short-term peak-season coverage. You will deliver outstanding guest service, assist customers with video gaming needs, and support daily store operations.

Availability during holidays and weekends is essential. You will help maintain the shopping environment, stock and present merchandise, and contribute to sales initiatives while following company policies and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support store environment, visuals, and sales initiatives during holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking merchandise and ensure items presented on selling floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to company policies and attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
