Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending items during transactions.
• Support the shopping environment, visual and operational aspects, and participate in store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep store areas, including restrooms, clean and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and transferring products from stock room to selling floor, ensuring presentation and organization.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
