Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our store team for peak sales periods. You will deliver excellent guest service, assist with video gaming needs, and support sales initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will stock shelves, maintain the shopping area, and help meet sales goals while following company policies. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending items during every transaction.
• Support the shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and stay aware of scams.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
