Job summary

GameStop in Monroe, NC is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service and driving holiday sales.

You will greet guests, assist with video game needs, stock shelves, maintain the store, and participate in the Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation model during peak days.

This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with prior retail or guest service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with their video gaming needs.
• Support store environment, including visual and operational aspects, during holiday season.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented on the selling floor.
• Help achieve sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures.
