Job summary

GameStop in Spring Lake, NC is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday days. You will focus on sales, customer service, and store upkeep, helping guests with video gaming needs through our Circle of Life buy/sell/trade model.

The role requires friendly, reliable individuals who can work nights, weekends, and holidays, greet guests, stock merchandise, maintain clean areas, and help meet sales goals while following store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with gaming needs, recommend items, and thank guests for visiting.
• Support store environment and contribute to sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise, transfer items from stock room to selling floor, and present products well.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
