Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney facility in Asheville, NC seeks a Machine Operator to support the Hole Drill unit on a production line. You will operate BX3, TAFIS, and other equipment, perform quality checks and document results to ensure product conformance.

You will read process sheets, maintain run charts, and participate in TPM and 5S activities. The role requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to work shift hours including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required to access program/contract information.
• Previous manufacturing experience or related education/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines in the Hole Drill unit; produce blades/vanes and perform quality checks.
• Read process sheets, interpret gauges, and record dimensional data.
• Maintain 5S and TPM; document results; clock labor in Solumina.
