Job summary

RTX in Asheville, NC is hiring a production operator to run a range of machines on the Hole Drill line, perform quality inspections, and support daily TPM and 5S practices. The role requires shift work and overtime as needed.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, US citizenship, and prior manufacturing experience or related education to join a fast-paced production team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines in the Hole Drill business unit (BX3, TAFIS, manual pin check, CMM/Revo, air flow, electrode assembly).
• Perform daily standard work and complex operations, adhering to instructions.
• Read/process sheets and use measuring devices to assess product acceptance per blueprint specs.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform TPM; document results.
• Maintain clean and organized work area (5S) and support shift requirements (overtime as needed).
